The Art Of Style According To Duncan Quinn

Style. Everyone wants it; few are born with it. Style encompasses one of the more playful aspects of human nature, as good dressers seldom happen by accident. So the question becomes not can you teach style, but how? Culture Trip’s video series The Art of Style explores.
According to Duncan Quinn, the roguish gentleman who brought Savile Row to Soho with his eponymous atelier, the answer is to live life with a boldness of character.

Style is about more than the clothes on your back. From the workman to businessman, style helps you dress the inner mechanisms of your soul. In other words, clothes really do make the man.

A Duncan Quinn bespoke suit is about more than fine custom tailoring, however. The fabric—including yarns such as guanaco, vicuna, cashmere, mohair, silk and alpaca—is hand cut and sewn. Quinn says that one of his suits is likely to outlive its wearer.

Splashy colors, cheeky patterns, and ingenious accessories give Quinn’s clothing and trimmings an edge, making you curious about the man who inhabits them. Does this make you superficial? Never. It means you’re discerning.
