Every Easter, Hoboken Grace Community Church hosts its annual Easter egg hunt. And while that might not seem like an out-of-the-ordinary thing, this particular one features 30,000 Easter eggs, making it the largest hunt in Hudson County. This kid-friendly event in Hoboken is a really popular one, so organizers strongly encourage getting your tickets for one of the two rounds of hunts. Aside from looking for eggs, children can get their face painted, play carnival games and get a picture with the Easter Bunny.

A variety of local businesses line Washington Street to show off their wares as well as specials for the day’s attendees; there are also lots of acts who are slated to perform. Hoboken’s Italian community has been a stronghold in the Mile Square City for a long time. And to pay homage to their culture, the city hosts the St. Ann’s Italian Festival on Jefferson Street and 7th Street in July every year. Filled with games, music and all the zeppole you can eat, this is an excellent kid-friendly event in Hoboken. And if you like live music, there is a different headlining act every night.
