The pride, loyalty and enthusiasm for the New Jersey Devils is alive and well in the Garden State. One of New Jersey’s few professional sports teams, they have won the Stanley Cup, not one but three times and continue to be a force in the National Hockey League (NHL) today. Go to a game at the Prudential Center in Newark for a real taste of New Jersey hockey fans.

2. New Jersey Red Bulls

New Jersey’s only resident professional soccer team, the Red Bulls have made their home in the suburban town of Harrison. The Major League Soccer (MLS) team plays from March to October to hordes of loyal soccer fans every season. As a bonus, the stadium has been known to host some major events in hopes of raising interest and awareness of the sport, so die-hard fans can’t lose!

3. MetLife Stadium

Despite its location in East Rutherford, New Jersey MetLife Stadium hosts both of NYC’s NFL teams: the New York Giants and the New York Jets. The Giants were one of the original five teams to join the NFL in 1925, and they’re the only one of that five that still exists. They’ve won four Super Bowls and have had 28 players inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Jets, on the other hand, have only won one Super Bowl, but are still a beloved team. Today, hundreds and thousands of loyal fans from all over the tri-state area come to these games to join in the fun.
