The Mason Jar

The owners of The Mason Jar operated their business as Cupcake Bakery for ten years before expanding their business into a full restaurant service. They have created a dynamic restaurant with an appealing and flexible menu, which favors simplicity and customer satisfaction. Try the roasted salmon pesto sandwich, and you’ll understand why people keep going back to The Mason Jar. Another attraction is the beautiful, spacious interior, which is decorated with about 500 mason jars. There is live music every Thursday and Saturday, which adds to the restaurant’s friendly atmosphere and draws in locals from all over Eagan.

Blue Stone Steak and Seafood

Blue Stone Steak and Seafood specializes in a range of steak and seafood with huge influences from Cajun and Creole cuisine: house specials include ‘Rajin Cajun Jambalaya’ and ‘Voodoo Pasta.’ However, the Blue Stone’s charms don’t stop there. The dessert descriptions at Blue Stone Steak & Seafood alone will make you want to book a reservation: examples include brown butter beignets, with bourbon-caramel sauce and chocolate-chicory-coffee sauce. The restaurant owners know how to cater to a range of tastes by providing a gluten-free menu and a truly impressive selection of whisky.

Jensen’s Food & Cocktails

Jensen’s Food & Cocktails operated for 60 years as Jensen’s Supper Club, but adopted their new name in 2014. As a result, it is the ideal place for a relaxed gathering with friends. The restaurant provides an extensive range of cocktails, including a huge choice of the restaurant’s speciality, the martini, which comes in every flavor from chocolate to key-lime pie. If that doesn’t sound like your tipple of choice, there’s still a fantastic selection of wines. The food menu is seafood heavy, with parmesan walleye, snow-crab legs, and generous portions of shrimp.

Ze’s Diner

For an authentic American diner experience, try Ze’s Diner for American classics such as meatloaf and pot roast. The restaurant is a hit with locals and first time visitors to the area, both of whom are charmed by the restaurant’s retro décor, 1950s rock memorabilia and affordable menu, which is wonderfully homely, even the jam is homemade. This is a great place for a bit of nostalgia in a modern setting. This diner is especially great for breakfast, when you can try a Cajun breakfast, biscuits and gravy, or a whole host of egg dishes.

Lone Oak Grill

If you’re looking for somewhere outside of the main city to watch the game with a well stocked selection of draught beer, Lone Oak Grill could just be the place for you. The restaurant is also home to a delicious mac and cheese, which also includes a customizable option in which you can add a range of delicious toppings, including jalapeños, smoked beef brisket, and crab meat. Overall, the menu manages to be high quality while still retaining the feel of a classic brew pub.

Fiesta Cancun Mexican Grill and Bar

Fiesta Cancun Mexican Grill and Bar provides a huge choice of Mexican classics in generous portions. If you struggle to find a Mexican restaurant that carries all your favorite dishes, this restaurant’s complete selection will hopefully meet your needs as every fajita, burrito and enchilada comes with a seemingly countless list of options. Make sure you stop by for Margarita Monday, when there are great reductions on the bar’s range of margaritas, which come in a huge range of flavors. There is so much to sample at this Mexican grill that a second visit is definitely advisable.

Andiamo

Andiamo looks to a traditional Italian family dining room table for its inspiration, aiming to become their patrons’ ‘home away from home.’ They also cater to a range of dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. If a welcoming atmosphere and authentic Italian food isn’t enough to lure you in, check out the restaurant’s happy hour, which includes half price appetizers and generously reduced drinks.

Ansari’s Mediterranean Grill and Lounge

Discover the delights of the Mediterranean by visiting Ansari’s Mediterranean Grill and Lounge. There a few places that offer such a fully stocked menu of Greek, Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine, with the opportunity to sample a range of dishes as part of the restaurant’s ‘taste of’ menu and sample platters. They also give their patrons a taste of Middle Eastern culture in the form of a belly dancer who performs in the evenings.
