Lincoln Park is one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods, and its coffee scene is no different. Here are some great places to grab a cup of coffee in Lincoln Park.

Counter at The Bagelers Coffeehouse

The Bagelers Coffeehouse

Tucked away near the Biograph Theater and numerous bars, The Bagelers Coffeehouse can be easy to miss but should not be overlooked. Along with serving great coffee, Bagelers, as its name implies, is also known for its fresh bagels served daily. With a laid-back atmosphere and quiet interior, Bagelers is a welcome retreat from the hustle of Lincoln Avenue. Students from nearby DePaul can often be found studying away inside.

Cup of coffee at Vanille

Vanille Patisserie

While they’re known for their French pastries and elaborate cakes, Vanille Patisserie also makes a great cup of coffee. Coffee at Vanille is just as much about the presentation and delivery of the coffee as it is the coffee itself. After ordering at the counter, your coffee is brought to you in a giant mug on a silver platter. The simple yet classy indoor seating is great for escaping the cold during the winter. During the warmer months, the outdoor seating along Clark Street provides a great place to sip your coffee and people-watch.

Elaine’s Coffee Call

Located in the lobby of the Hotel Lincoln, Elaine’s Coffee Call is a small, cozy place to grab some coffee and a bite to eat. The cafe brews La Colombe Coffee and serves up food and pastries from the restaurant, Perennial Virant, located next door. With its retro-chic decoration and knowledgeable baristas, Elaine’s is the perfect place to stop by. Fuel up before heading to nearby Lincoln Park or the lakefront.
