Blown into town and need a place to stay? We’ve got you covered with this hand-picked list of places to stay in Hurricane, Utah – book now with Culture Trip.

When a brisk wind blew the roof off Mormon leader Erastus Snow’s buggy in the 1860s, he christened the surrounding area Hurricane Hill. Storm chasers will be disappointed to learn you’re unlikely to encounter twisters here, but you will find plenty of incredible hiking trails through the desert, and nearby Zion National Park. You should also keep an eye out for the fossilized footprints of dinosaurs, which are scattered throughout Southern Utah.
