Maui is known for its spectacular beaches, so spend your weekend brunch relaxing at some of these beach-front brunch spots and other few unique restaurants on our guide to the best brunch spots this beautiful place has to offer.

Kula Lodge & Restaurant

Take in the picturesque mountain views at Kula Lodge & Restaurant. Nestled in the trees at more than 3,000 feet, Kula Restaurant’s indoor and outdoor seating areas feature a view of the entire west side of Maui. The restaurant has very friendly staff, a large rustic fireplace to warm up the mountain chill, and a selection of omelettes, fruits, and pancakes. Kula Lodge & Restaurant is a great spot to start a day after watching the sunrise at Haleakala

The Gazebo

Hidden out of the way at the Napili Shores condos is The Gazebo, a poolside restaurant that has a small amount of open-air seating space and offers take-out. The wait can be long, but the food and the view of Napili Bay make it worth the wait. Their menu offers a variety of pancakes, omelettes, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. Try either the white macadamia nut pancakes or the pineapple pancakes for a true Hawaiian taste while you dine by the beach.

Grandma’s Coffee House

Grandma’s Coffee House started in 1918 when Grandma began roasting and brewing Maui organic coffee and her home became the place to gather and gossip. Grandma’s coffee is grown on the slopes of Haleakala, the beans are picked by hand and dried naturally by the sun, and then the coffee is roasted at Grandma’s. Grandma’s Coffee House also serves homemade breakfast favorites like French toast, waffles, bagels, oatmeal, and egg dishes. Guests can enjoy a brunch outside on the scenic deck.

Honolulu Store

Located on the grounds of the Kapalua Resort, the Honolulu Store is a landmark of Maui’s pineapple farming days in a historic plantation setting. The fresh deli offers breakfast favorites, such as the popular loco moco, Belgian waffles, banana pancakes, breakfast burritos, Honolulu omelettes, and Hawaiian-style plate lunches. The Honolulu Store offers a full-service espresso bar, fresh bakery items, and meals to-go. Enjoy a breakfast on the covered outdoor patio here with views of the beautiful Kapalua Resort grounds.

Kihei Caffe

Kihei Caffe opens early and serves breakfast all day. There’s a menu of over 40 breakfast choices including eggs, fresh baked goods, pancakes, fresh fruit bowls, and smoothies. Seating is available on the outdoor patio right across from Kalama Beach Park.

Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop

Leoda’s takes a unique approach to classic and traditional favorites, such as coconut French toast, the daily frittata, the veggie patty benedict, and the seared ahi benedict.

Tasty Crust

Tasty Crust is a classic seat-yourself diner in Wailuku. This restaurant serves home-style breakfast favorites with a local spin on them. Their sign proclaims that they have ‘World Famous Pancakes’ and their banana pancakes are a particularly popular choice. The service is friendly and the food is brought out quickly.
