Jeju Spa

There’s nothing generally unusual about booking a couples treatment at a spa, but Jeju Spa is not your run of the mill spa. Located in Duluth, Georgia, Jeju is a Korean spa that is open twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. The two-level, 34,000-square-foot facility features nudity-required areas and clothed co-ed areas. The unique Korean wellness spa also features steam rooms, scrubs, hot saunas, cold pools, hot whirlpools and a dining area.

A Porsche experience

Located just south of the city, couples can spend a day at the Porsche Experience Center. Couples can take a tour of the facility, experience a simulated course or actually driving a Porsche on a closed course. To continue “German-style hospitality,” visitors head over to Overdrive Lounge, a rooftop bar that overlooks the track.


Take a walk in Oakland Cemetery

Filled with stories of famous and historical people, visiting Oakland Cemetery makes for an interesting date. Just minutes from downtown Atlanta, the historic burial grounds is the final resting place of former mayors, civil war veterans, slaves and Gone With the Wind author, Margaret Mitchell.

Geared toward couples, The Cooking School at Irwin Street offers classes on Thai cuisine, African cuisine and healthier soul food.

Make pottery together

Mudfire Studio and Gallery offers a unique and creative date experience. Couples get a two-hour experience learning the basics, while sipping on wine.


Take a Vietnam-Era helicopter ride

Located next to of the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation (AAHF) offers a once in a lifetime experience perfect for a date. The foundation allows you to explore Vietnam-era helicopters for free, and offers affordable flying options. The ride is about 10-12 minutes and fliers get to experience the dips and deep turns the helicopters faced during era.

Fernbank After Dark

Hosted by Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Fernbank After Dark is a monthly after-hours event that combines science activities, art, mixology and live music. Documentary screenings, live installations, cocktails and access to the current science exhibit make a perfectly unique date.

Spend the night at Blue Ridge Treehouse

An actual treehouse, the Blue Ridge Treehouse makes for a unique and romantic date. Built by The TreeHouse Guys from DIY Network and located on Bear Claw Vineyards, the treehouse boasts a large deck with outdoor lighting, a grill, a wine fridge, games, a leather sofa (which transforms to a bed) and cafe table. While the kitchen doesn’t include a stove, it does come with a small fridge, microwave, Keurig and dishwasher. Book well in advance because it books up quickly.


Sips Under The Sea

Held at the Georgia Aquarium, Sips Under the Sea is a themed, adult event that takes place periodically throughout the year. Guests enjoy cocktails, light bites, music and aquatic exhibits.
