Miami is home to eternal summer, and everyone who visits or lives here pretty much lives in a bikini or shorts. If you’re looking for the perfect pool to dive into and cool off on a hot summer’s day, look no further than these pools in Miami.

1. Venetian Pool

This gorgeous pool in the heart of Coral Gables is filled with caverns and waterfalls for guests to enjoy, as well as beautiful architecture. The Venetian Pool has been around since 1924, and with good reason. Fall in love with this historic lagoon, perfect for those looking for water not reeking of chlorine but also not filled with dangerous marine life—not all of us like to swim with jellyfish! Grab some snacks and just tan in a nice, warm path during the summer then jump in for a cool dip. Admission ranges from $15–$20 per adult.

2. McDonald Water Park

This water park has water slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool—fun for children and adults alike. People like to spend lots of time here especially during the summer, when adults can relax on the lazy river and tan while children hit the slides and splash park. The snack bar has tons of tasty eats, areas are available to rent for birthday parties and other events, and the park also offers swimming lessons.

Grapeland is fun water park located near Biscayne Bay that offers children themed play areas, like Shipwreck Island and Pirate’s Plunge, along with a lagoon and lazy river that families can enjoy together. This is a great place for adults in indulge in as well and makes for a perfect fun time out on weekend afternoons. There are water slides and tanning areas galore, as well as a tasty snack bar. A day at Grapeland will leave visitors pretty tired from all the water, sunshine, and laughs, so be prepared to head to bed early!

Those looking for an adult-only pool that’s a perfect spot for spring and summer break have to hit the Shore Club. This hotel is home to “Shore Thing Sundays,” a weekly pool party where the hungover and partied-out meet up to hang out, tan, and drink a little more after their crazy Saturday nights. Listen to tunes spun by some of the best local DJs around, have a great cocktail, and relax before taking on another week of work.

6. Soho Beach House

The Soho Beach House knows how to throw a party. During Art Basel, the hotel sets up a tent on its private beach and invites all kinds of fun events and DJs. On Sundays, the eighth-floor pool, named Ocho, comes to life with a live DJ spinning the best tunes, and people decked out in chic swimsuits spill over sun chairs. Although the pool is only accessible to house members and hotel guests, it is the place to laze around on a Sunday, get a tan, gossip with friends, and have a Bloody Mary. See all the action during Basel, or be in town for the house’s annual end-of-summer party.
