The Elbo Room
This Fort Lauderdale beach bar is a landmark. Known by residents and eternally glorified by anyone who’s been there, The Elbo Room has been a go-to place for over 75 years. This bar was established in 1938 and taken over by WWII sailors in the 1940s, and was later patronized by the famous spring breakers from the 1950s to the 80s. The Elbo room is also credited with creating the world’s first fully interactive entertainment network. Now, www.elboroom.com offers its subscribers an array of live, full motion cameras with sound and includes a live beach camera that allows users to view the weather for the day — and the many scantily clad beachgoers! Head down Las Olas Boulevard; The Elbo Room is ready to provide you with all of the key ingredients to a killer beach day or night out.
Rhythm & Vine
In keeping with the laid-back style of partying that Fort Lauderdale is known for, we take you to downtown Fort Lauderdale’s Rhythm & Vine, where #justchill is the prevailing vibe. A relatively recent addition to the downtown bar scene, Rhythm and Vine is quickly becoming one of the most popular hangout spots in all of South Florida. It has done a wonderful job of creating a backyard atmosphere with a beautiful layout, as well as incorporating designs and decorations that make you feel like you’ve been taken to a remote tropical gathering. The drinks are not overly priced like they are in Miami and they taste just as good. And, did we mention the food trucks?! They’re exactly what you need after a few pints of beer and the obligatory shot of tequila that your overly ambitious friend bought for the whole group.
