Perot Museum of Nature and Science

While most museums in the area focus on the history of Texas, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science teaches the history of the world and shows where we may be in the future. Inside this modern museum sits a scientific, technological and naturally historical world of exploration, with many permanent exhibits, including the Sports Hall, the Being Human Hall and the Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation Hall. There’s also an in-house movie theater that exclusively screens National Geographic films. It’s perfect for a family outing and offers camps, sleepovers, birthday-party programs, story time, art programs and much more – something for everyone.

Nasher Sculpture Center

The Nasher Sculpture Center exhibits beautiful modern and contemporary sculptures inside an elegant, spacious and well-lit space and a peaceful garden. It houses more than 300 sculptures created by artists from all over the world, including Picasso, Rodin, Giacometti and Serra, to name a few. In addition to its exhibits, the museum also hosts various events and programs throughout the year, such as hands-on learning experiences, live music, films and much more.

Frontier of Flight Museum

If you’re interested in aviation, fly on over to the Frontier of Flight Museum, home to missiles, old and modern aircraft and even Apollo 7 – the first successful manned Apollo flight. You can also learn about the history of aviation in our skies and in space, significant air operations during various wars and the uniforms flight attendants and pilots wore more than 50 years ago. Throughout the year, the museum also hosts events and other programs, and the on-site gift shop has a wealth of treasures, from little trinkets to an array of books.

Crow Museum of Asian Art

Opened by the Crow family in 1998, this Dallas museum is dedicated to artwork from China, Japan, India, Korea and Southeast Asia. Here, you can explore ancient and modern paintings, drawings, pottery, tapestries, artefacts and outdoor sculptures. The museum also offers lectures for those interested in furthering their knowledge in Asian art and hosts various events, such as yoga. Stop by the beautiful and fun-filled facility for a quick trip to Asia.
