Scioto River
The Scioto River is more than 231 miles long and flows through central and southern Ohio. It is highly visible and very close to Columbus – closer still to Schiller Park in German Village. There are many places along the river to admire the beauty of the surrounding nature, the relaxing sounds of the waters of the river crashing against the rocks, the humming birds, and the warm sun against your skin. It is the ideal place to relax, read a book, or even practice casting a fishing rod. As the seasons change, the appeal of Scioto River does not.
