Connoisseur’s Delight: Pure Marijuana Dispensary

Pure is the name and the best description of Pure Marijuana Dispensary. The prices are a little higher than some in Denver ($20 for a gram), but the up charge is worth it. Pure sells some of the highest quality marijuana in the area, and uses state of the art processes to make the best concentrates. The staff is quite knowledgeable, and if you are on a budget, call ahead and see if Pure is having a promotion — sometimes ounces go on sale for as little as $134.

Best Selection: Medicine Man

Medicine Man is the largest marijuana dispensary in Denver, carrying every form of marijuana imaginable, as well as plenty of paraphernalia. The Medicine is located in a out of the way office park in Northern Denver, but it’s actually a convenient stop as you come into the city from the Denver Airport. Pick up a few grams of different weed ($10-$15 per gram) and edibles ranging from candy drops to trail mix bars. Medicine Man also sells concentrates and rigs so that you can smoke them.

Best Atmosphere: Sacred Seed

When you walk into Sacred Seed, you feel like you’re in a Shaman’s home, not a marijuana dispensary. The people are very friendly and Sacred Seed blends horticultural, scientific, and culinary experience to give their, as they say, patients the best quality marijuana. The Sacred Seed also has a first timer promotion, so mention that you’ve never been there before and get 15% off of your purchase. The Sacred Seed has daily specials as well, so you’ll be saving money any day of the week.

Best Home-Grown Strains: Natural Remedies

Natural Remedies is one of Denver’s first Marijuana Dispensaries, and has won several awards for their original strains. Red-Headed Stranger #14 and Banana Kush are the most decorated strains, but any of the strains will deliver a unique high. Natural Remedies seeks to keep the goodwill coming, and will soon produce their own line of edibles and their own hash, so stayed tuned for more award winning, Natty Rem cannabis products.
Natural Remedies, 1620 Market St #5w, Denver, CO 80202 (303) 953-0884

Best Deal: LivWell

LivWell has done well in the Marijuana industry — they have nine locations, though only three (on Broadway, Larimer, and Evans) sell recreational marijuana and the rest require a medical card. LivWell serves several strains, concentrates, and edibles at some of the lowest prices in Colorado. A gram is typically $8-$11, but an ounces are as cheap as $140. Those are just the regular prices — LivWell often runs promotions, selling ounces for as cheap as $125, and eighths for $20.

Best Edibles: Ganja Gourmet

Ganja Gourmet is described as a ‘Gourmet Marijuana Grocery Store.’ Ganja Gourmet makes weed-infused pizzas, tapenades, and even pasta sauce. Ganja Gourmet’s space cake won KushKon’s most powerful edible award, and they also carry loose marijuana, pre-rolls, and some concentrates. Disclaimer: at the time of publication, Ganja Gourmet’s kitchen is being remodeled, but should be up and running in early 2016.
