Luxury travel company, Black Tomato, introduces ‘Set Jetting’ trips to whisk travelers away to the scenic backdrops of their favorite television shows.

We are all guilty of growing roots in our couch, in front of the TV, as we binge-watch our favorite shows. Now, a luxury company is tapping into that habit by merging travel with people’s television obsessions.

“Storytelling has always been integral to the travel experiences that we create, so it’s no wonder we’re seeing a rise in travelers taking inspiration from TV shows,” Tom Marchant, Black Tomato’s co-founder, tells Lonely Planet.

“We wanted to offer clients a unique take on set jetting, connecting them to set scouts and industry professionals and allowing them to explore the lesser-known locations to enrich their travel experiences.”

Monument Valley, Utah

The Westworld trip, for example, takes travelers on an 11-day tour of Utah to visit some of the show’s most scenic backdrops—from Moab to Monument Valley. For $7,540 per person (excluding flights), guests will horseback ride, hike and ride through Utah’s backcountry as though they are an extra on the hit HBO show, which transports viewers to the wild west.

The Mad Men trip, in contrast, takes travelers to the glitz and glamour of New York City for a cool $6,676 per person (excluding flights). Guests can expect classic jazz and cocktails at Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel, receive VIP treatment from a personal stylist and parade around Manhattan in impeccable 1960s style, channeling Don Draper and Peggy Olson.

Currently, Black Tomato offers trips inspired by a variety of popular television shows, including: Twin Peaks, Westworld, The Crown, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Young Pope.
