Bin 707 in Grand Junction is a contemporary American style bistro, displaying an incredible level of innovation and deliciousness night after night. Bin 707 first opened its doors in 2009, and is named after a Cabernet vintage of the same year. Now a focal point of the Grand Junction restaurant scene, Bin 707 features only the best in seasonal and local ingredients. The dinner menu includes appetizers such as tartare of Wagyu beef, and cucumber and melon gazpacho; main dishes, such as confit of duck and smoked belly of pork make for indulgent main courses.

626 on Rood

A stylish and elegant restaurant, 626 on Rood bills itself as downtown Grand Junction’s most progressive dining experience. The restaurant is open seven days a week and vows to takes guests on a journey through modern American cuisine. The menu is based on seasonal availability, lovingly designed by chef patron Theo Otte. The main menu includes squid ink pasta with smoked scallops, duck prosciutto and a tarragon cream sauce, and also grilled pork loin chops with brown butter sauce. Il Bistro Italiano

Il Bistro Italiano is best described as a homey Italian restaurant. The restaurant is run by husband and wife team Brunella and Ron. Brunella was originally born in Bibbiano, Italy, and brings with her a wealth of experience – including occasional visits from her mother – to make the very best Italian cuisine. The kitchen team are proud to buy local ingredients wherever possible, using them to make delicious dishes such as American Kobe beef with vegetables and wine, or pork porterhouse with lemon and white wine. Il Bistro Italiano, of course, also boasts a fantastic array of pizza and pasta dishes.

Pablo’s Pizza

Pablo’s Pizza is a small group of restaurants in Colorado, and the site at Grand Junction is the original. Serving up classic Italian pizza, Pablo’s Pizza has something for everyone who can’t get enough doughy goodness. The restaurant was first opened by Paul and Kaci Knaysi in October 2000 after more than three years of planning. They pledged to keep the menu as extraordinary as possible, and it is packed with all kinds of incredible options. Pizzas come topped with either red or white (tomato or béchamel) sauces, and are fully customizable.

Nepal Restaurant

Nepal Restaurant is a Himalayan themed dining establishment in downtown Grand Junction, serving dishes inspired by Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The restaurant was first opened in 2003 by owners Anil and Sarita Luitel, and has been serving authentic dishes from the sub-continent ever since. Appetizers include chicken or shrimp pakodas, which see chicken and shrimp fried in chickpea batter. The main meals include a great many curries, with a large selection of vegetarian options, inspired by the Buddhist and Hindu roots of the dishes.

Suehiro Japanese Restaurant & Sushi

Suehiro is everything you could expect a Japanese restaurant to be. Chic and sophisticated, black marble counter tops and an immaculately organized bar greet guests on their arrival. Looking up, they’ll notice that the ceiling glows with beautiful Japanese lanterns, which keep the room warmly lit. The menu features classic dishes such as chicken or pork katsu curry, consisting of breaded meat fried and served with a delicious curry sauce. Teriyaki noodle meals, and lightly fried tempura plates also offer excellent examples of solid Japanese fare.

The Winery Restaurant

The Winery is simply a stunningly beautiful restaurant set in a century-old building and decorated with exposed red brickwork, stained glass, artwork, and polished oak furnishings. Located in downtown Grand Junction, the restaurant was acquired by current owner Steve Thoms in 2004, who made it his mission to establish The Winery as the preeminent location for fine dining. Dishes include veal medallions florentine; chicken breast stuffed with pecan, spinach and goat’s cheese, and a mixed grill of beef and scallops. The Winery also boasts a signature dessert – known as the palisade – which has to be seen to be believed.
