Pumpkin sculptor extraordinaire Ray Villafane takes the art of Halloween to the next level with his incredible 3D carvings of the holiday’s vegetable of choice.

Working out of his studio in Phoenix, Arizona, Ray and his team carve terrifyingly realistic pumpkins all year round. Known as ‘temporary art,’ the work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, who crowned Ray the ‘Picasso of pumpkin carving.’

From known celebrities and horror movie characters to his own imagined creations, Ray’s pumpkins are beautifully sculpted with the utmost attention to detail. His skill is apparent, his carving immaculate and the finished pieces really are works of art.

You will never look at squash in the same way again.
