With more millennials using dating apps than ever before, Tinder has broken down the most right-swiped neighborhoods in the United States.

Dating in New York is nothing like dating in Denver. Finding the right match in Lower Manhattan means fending through dark, stuffy bars full of manspreading finance bros in custom-tailored suits with cheesy pick-up lines. But dating in Denver, on the other hand, means navigating a pool of nature-loving outdoorsy singles who prefer hiking up a mountain and taking in a sunset over a shared Nalgene bottle. Needless to say, these are different ideas of modern romance.

But Denver and Lower Manhattan do share one common thread in the dating game: swiping. Today, dating apps help people around the world cut through the clutter and connect simply by swiping their potential match left or right. Hopefully right, which opens the doors of conversation from Wall Street to the Rocky Mountains.

Now, the company, which is ranked as the most popular dating app for single millennials, released data on the most right-swiped neighborhoods in the United States. From D.C.’s Adams Morgan to West Hollywood, these neighborhoods are bringing their A-game when it comes to dating. Looking at data from eight major U.S. cities, Tinder claims that up-and-coming neighborhoods are dominating the “swipe scoreboard” because of their younger residents and popular cultural spots.
