Support Breast Cancer Research While Supporting Your Breasts

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is symbolized by the loop of a pink ribbon. The fashion industry recognizes the philanthropic need to “think pink” as hundreds of brands donate sales, or a portion thereof, to raise funding for a cure for breast cancer, an illness that claims 41,000 lives a year, according to Everyday Health.

Not only does medical research empower the lives of women and men affected by breast cancer, but so does lingerie. Certainly the two are not comparable in a literal sense—although I’d argue anything that can make a woman (or man) feel sexual is empowering—however, these brands are honoring breasts with lingerie that benefits breast cancer research. The following lingerie brands will be donating 20 percent of sales through October 31, 2017, to Look Good Feel Better and Living Beyond Breast Cancer, two nonprofits dedicated to eradicating breast cancer.
