Get Paid $12,000 to Get Drunk and Travel the World

Everyone listen up! We’ve got a proper sweet deal for you, because a U.S.-based craft beer-tavern chain is offering a fully paid internship to travel, drink beer, write, tweet, and ‘gram about it. And no, this isn’t a hoax.

Every year, World of Beer (WOB)—a national chain of taverns in the U.S.—scouts for three lucky “Drink It Interns” to hop on a plane over the summer period. Luckily for you, it’s that time of year again when it’s time to start filling out the application. So, what does it involve?

The job ad clearly states that the gig will require “hopping from brewery to brewery, WOB tavern to WOB tavern, to explore beer for themselves and share their stories with WOB drinkers across the country.” We don’t know about you, but we’re pretty stoked about everything in the last sentence.

Technically, the job is a social media internship, but don’t worry, you don’t already need to know how to schedule a Facebook post because you’ll be taught all the ins and outs of digital media while you’re drinking—plus, all your travel expenses are paid for, and you’ll pocket $12,000 for four months of work (beer belly included).

All you need to do is fill out the online form and upload a short video to say why you’re perfect for the job by March 26, 2017. If you make the second round, you’ll then need to show up at one of nine select WOB locations (there are more than 50 in total) for an in-person interview.
