What’s better than a beach day? A beach day with your dog! Taboga is a dog-friendly beach in Panama that welcomes furry friends of the four-legged variety, too. Why would you opt to leave your pup at home all day when they can come along to soak up the sun and enjoy the Vitamin Sea, too?

What’s better than a park day for a dog? Freedom from the restriction of a leash, of course. Parque Andres Bello in El Cangrejo has a designated dog park area that is fully fenced in and safe to unleash your pup and let him frolic and run around freely and safely.

If you’re visiting Panama with your pup in tow, you’ll be glad to know the list of fabulous dog-friendly hotels is quite long. On the list is the Trump Ocean Club – and even if you don’t stay there, you can bring your dog to enjoy your beer overlooking the ocean or whatever you fancy. La Rana Dorada is a wonderful bar in the heart of Panama City with several locations in the hottest areas, from El Cangrejo to Casco Viejo and more. One of the best parts about this place is the outdoor seating that allows for four-legged patrons to enjoy lounging with you. Happy Hour from noon to 6 p.m. offers half off on all craft beers. This is a must-visit for the craft beer lover, as La Rana Dorada is one of Panama’s oldest craft brewers.
