The Nicaraguan capital’s finest wine bar is a romantic spot with an intimate atmosphere. There is a wide selection of bottles on offer, and a number of small tapas dishes that your waiter will help to match with your wine of choice.

This place offers a wide range of luxury products, including wine, rum, and cigars. There is an attached restaurant where you can sample some of the finest cuisine in Granada along with your drinks, as well as weekly wine and rum tasting sessions.

This restaurant is one of the longest-running in town, and its success is down to top food as well as a strong wine list. Popular for dates and special occasions, it’s worth a look if you want to eat somewhere special.

6. El Zaguán

This grill restaurant is perennially popular with tourists thanks to its location just off the main square, so book ahead to get a table. Famous for its steaks, this is a large restaurant that still manages to create a good atmosphere, and the drinks list is superb as well.

7. Pullaso’s Ole

Head to the northern city of Esteli to visit this grill restaurant, named after the pullaso cut of beef from Argentina. The dining room is lined with racks of red, and you can sample as many as you like.
