Río Secreto, translated as Secret River, is an eco-park where you will have the adventure of a lifetime. The river itself is not the only adventure: as it is located 80 feet (25m) underground you have to descend walking through a system of caves. Sometimes the only light will come from your lamp, but the guides are able to lead you safely through the caves. Once there, you’ll walk and swim through eight miles (13km) of beautiful sceneries of stalactites and stalagmites, vamps and clear crystal waters. There’s a spot where the guide will turn off the light so you can sense the peace of the Mayan underworld.
