Blue Fish Sushi

If you like your seafood raw and in the form of sushi, head down to Blue Fish Sushi in Cabo San Lucas. While Nick-San is the sushi joint that often takes the attention, Blue Fish is undoubtedly a fierce competitor for the title of Los Cabos’ best sushi. Even better, it lacks Nick-San’s steep prices. The dishes themselves are incredibly vibrant, which just reflects the quality and freshness of both the fish and vegetables. They are also very visually impressive. Aside from the quality seafood, it is conveniently located just off the main square.

Edith’s

We recommend taking advantage of Edith’s prime location, arriving an hour before sunset, and settling down in the colorful open air/palapa-covered surroundings. Soak up the atmosphere as you enjoy your seafood here. The quaint decor of this spot includes hanging glass hearts and colorful lighting quirks. These only add to the ambiance. The portions are more than reasonable and will satisfy even the most ravenous diner. As far as the Bajan-Guerreran style food goes, it’s worth trying the lobster bisque served in a bread bowl and the grapefruit martinis.

Tequila

Tequila’s aesthetic could be described as one which looks thrown together despite being incredibly well thought-out. Located in San José, Tequila has paper lanterns suspended above the outdoor dining area, and white drapes sway in the breeze. The food here is an intriguing and tasty blend of Mediterranean, Asian, and Mexican flavors, with dishes such as spring rolls in a mandarin and ginger sauce gracing the starters menu. Grilled pesto lobster takes center stage out of the mains. An extra Tequila benefit is the walk-in wine cellar and Cuban cigar room available here.

Lorenzillo’s

Soak up the sights and sounds of Cabo San Lucas’ marina from the first floor dining area at Lorenzillo’s. This is an exquisite fine dining establishment offering attentive service and top-notch seafood. The house special is lobster, and it’s obvious why. Buttery and sweet, it’s a dish well worth splurging on if you’re so inclined. Equally, if you’re looking for something a little different, how about the oysters? This is a great spot for a romantic dinner for two. Be aware that although it isn’t cheap, you do get what you pay for at Lorenzillo’s.

Seas Seafood Grille

This out-of-the-way spot is located right on the beach. This means you can enjoy your seafood while looking out onto the ocean, which is usually heavily populated with surfers. What could be better than marveling at their skills in the water as you enjoy dinner? The seafood on the menu comes in to play at lunch and dinner time. Enjoy an insanely fresh ceviche or even spicy tuna sushi rolls for lunch, perhaps sampling the mezcal shrimp or mango red snapper for dinner. 7 Seas Seafood Grille offers clearly marked gluten-free options and focuses on sustainability.
