A former village of Toronto built in the 1850s, Parkdale — known to many as “Parkdale Village” — is a unique little nook of the city situated between Queen West and Roncesvalles. With the waters of Lake Ontario forming its southern portion, Parkdale is bursting with eclectic flavor, multicultural landscape, an artistic (and newly established hipster) vibe — and of course, breathtaking views. Trendy shops, cafes, restaurants and bars line the popular Queen St W, creating a booming scene for the locals from art and music to food and street art culture.
