Located in a converted warehouse, Commonwealth Bar & Stage was founded by local DJs and producers passionate about music. “The Commonwealth concept grew from the need for a mid-sized nightclub that would introduce creativity and discerning music to the standard nightclub model.” The nightclub’s two floors are the perfect place to be on Friday and Saturday nights, when club goers have a choice between top 40 and old rock and dance, or hip hop versus the classics.

Located at the Stampede Park gate, Cowboys is a staple in Calgary traditions, and the originator of where “playboy meets country.” During the Stampede, you can expect to see some world-renowned music acts inside their tent, like Diplo, Big Sean, The Chainsmokers, and Fetty Wap. Once the Stampede leaves the city, the party is still going at Cowboys. Twisted Element is Calgary’s premier gay nightclub. It hosts some interesting events in the early evening, before it’s time to hit the dancefloor.
