Brixton has fast become one of London’s most popular foodie spots over the last few years. Brixton Village offers everything from fantastic Asian food to mouthwatering coffee, and for all that’s missing here you can head over to Pop Brixton. As we’ve already got a comprehensive dining guide for this area, it’s now time to show you the best places for brunch.
Did you know – Culture Trip now does bookable, small-group trips? Pick from authentic, immersive Epic Trips, compact and action-packed Mini Trips and sparkling, expansive Sailing Trips.

As only real coffee shop in Brixton, Federation Coffee is always packed. Their bespoke Federation espresso blend comes from a local London roaster and their skilled baristas are very happy to make you any type of coffee you fancy, accompanied by a broad range of delicious pastries. This is the perfect place for a relaxed Sunday morning or for doing some work on a weekday (as it might be too busy for that on weekends).

Senzala Creperie

Crepes with chocolate and strawberries

One of the few places in Brixton Village that always comes with a queue, this homey little spot offers an endless list of crepes, with the Morning Glory being our absolute favourite. Their portions are huge and very suitable for sharing, which is the way to go if you want to try both their savoury and sweet options. They have plenty of vegan options too, making this the perfect place to go to when you’re with a mixed group of people – there’s definitely something for everyone here. You can find them right opposite Federation Coffee.

Pop Brixton

Pop Brixton in London, England.

As if Brixton Village didn’t have enough food options, Brixton’s latest asset is this group of containers, all hosted by different caterers. This project, started to support local jobs, is commissioned by Lambeth Council and offers a hub for people with all kinds of food start-ups. It’s most fun to walk around here and choose whatever you fancy most, but if you really can’t decide we’d recommend you to try Baba G’s fabulous burgers with an Indian twist. Try the Lamb Jalfrezi & Tandoori Chicken burgers with Masala fries.

The Blues Kitchen

This lively venue offers a Southern-style brunch with a musical twist. Enjoy live music alongside classic dishes like pancakes and fried chicken.

Brickwood Coffee & Bread

Known for their excellent coffee and artisanal bread, Brickwood also serves a variety of brunch items that cater to different tastes, from healthy to hearty.

Caya

Glass of Turkish Tea

If you’re in the mood for Turkish cuisine, Caya is the place to be. Their brunch menu features a mix of traditional and modern Turkish dishes.
