Associated mainly with backpackers, hostels are not the first accommodation that springs to mind when thinking of somewhere to stay in Spain, yet Malaga has an array of hostels to choose from, offering everything from basic necessities to modern glam.

1. Feel Hostel

Feel Hostel has an array of hostels across the world, including two standout locations in Malaga. The Feel Hostel City Centre has its own outdoor area, common room and cocktail bar, all with a great atmosphere, so even solo travellers can be social. Located in the Plaza del Carbon, it’s a great meeting place that has a lot of character and is easily accessible from wherever you want to venture to in Malaga.

2. Dulces Dreams

Sleep is something you would expect not to have much of when staying in a hostel, but Dulce Dreams has a focus on wellness. Relax on the terrace and enjoy the healthy products on offer. The café on the ground floor has a gallery for local artists to showcase their work, and gives those staying the option to purchase and take home a unique work of art as a souvenir of their time in Malaga.

A modern hostel, with an industrial decoration, located in the centre of Malaga, the Malaga stop hostel is ideally situated for those who want to experience the Andalusian lifestyle. In close proximity to the Picasso Museum, cathedral and Roman theatre there is a lot to discover and it’s all on the doorstep of this hostel.
