Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza

Chain Hotel

While this Ibizan Hard Rock outpost is known for a party vibe, there’s a lot going on besides. For a start, this popular hotel is a hit with the nippers, with a Roxity Kids Club where even little people can discover their inner rock star. The Rock Spa is the perfect place to unwind without the children, while the Rock Om combines yoga with music. A raft of restaurants, bars and cafés cater to a broad spectrum of tastes.

Barceló Portinatx

Resort, Hotel

If you’re after a child-free experience and loads of facilities just for grown-ups, the Barceló Portinatx is a top choice. Only a short stroll from Portinatx in the quieter corner of the island, relaxing is definitely high on the agenda here. Two swimming pools and an outdoor wellness centre mean plenty of space to do it, and if you’re after a little more action, there are lots of water sports to enjoy. A low-key beach club also dishes up that chilled-out Ibiza vibe.

Sol Beach House Ibiza

Resort, Hotel

Overlooking a picturesque bay just outside Santa Eulària des Riu, this huge beach resort combines a spectacular setting with a great choice of facilities. The adults-only environment offers a choice of three impressive swimming pools, one on the rooftop with spectacular panoramas and a cocktail bar. For those looking to detox, a purifying program of juices, yoga and reflexology can undo some of the overindulgence. Regular sunset DJ sessions are also put on to get you back in the party mood.

Palladium Hotel Palmyra

Resort, Hotel

For couples and groups looking for a premium all-inclusive experience, the adults-only Palladium Hotel Palmyra also adds a fine beachfront setting and decent range of facilities to the mix. While San Antonio’s S’Arenal beach is just steps away, you probably won’t want to venture further than your poolside lounger, between dips in the large pool. Daily entertainment and organised activities keep boredom at bay, plus with two on-site bars and restaurants, eating and drinking is always an option.

Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza

Resort, Hotel

With spectacular views over Bou Cove and the clubbing mecca of San Antonio opposite, Amàre Beach scores high for setting. The multiple terraces of this swish adults-only hotel take full advantage, too, with sea-view pools, rooftop jacuzzis and cocktail bars, plus a hip beach club. Four excellent eateries cover casual to haute cuisine, while wellness options range from yoga classes and personal trainers to organic skincare treatments and massage rituals.

Occidental Ibiza

With almost 350 rooms spread over nine blocks, Occidental Ibiza is certainly one of the bigger Ibizan hotels – with facilities to match. Three full-size pools mean none of them ever feels overcrowded, and there’s also one just for the little ones. The sprawling grounds are also home to sports courts, an excellent kids’ club and extensive buffet dining. The all-inclusive package and daily entertainment translate into little need to venture beyond the complex.

Grupotel Ibiza Beach Resort

Cosied right up to the smaller of the two beaches in Portinatx, this over-18-only hotel has the kind of privileged setting you’d never get permission to build on today. The centrepiece of this bright and jazzily modernised property is a lovely long pool, lined with loungers and overlooking the sea. A second swimming pool, lawned garden and wellness centre mean there’s relaxation space to spare, while an all-inclusive rate covers buffet dining and plenty of liquid refreshments.

Hacienda Na Xamena

Resort, Hotel, Luxury

Opened more than five decades ago, the Na Xamena was the first five-star hotel in Ibiza – and remains one of the most iconic. A dramatic cliff-top setting sets it apart, but stealing the show is the series of heated pools and waterfalls that cascade along one side. Three further pools (two outdoor, one in) and a full-service spa provide even more water-based relaxation. Regular yoga and pilates sessions are held in the hotel amphitheatre – just be careful not to get too distracted by the spectacular vista.

Alua Hawaii Ibiza

Resort, Hotel

Anyone hoping to be surrounded by Polynesian-themed flourishes at Alua Hawaii Ibiza will be disappointed. What it does have, however, is a well-balanced range of facilities set in an eye-pleasingly updated environment. The circular swimming pool (with a separate splash pool for kids) is a highlight, and a great spot to enjoy views over San Antonio Bay. An adults-only rooftop bar terrace also offers a fabulous vantage point for Ibizan sunsets. A kids’ club and daily and nightly entertainment complete the ample package.

Invisa Hotel Ereso

Hotel

While certainly not the most upscale of hotels, this three-star property offers a pretty decent all-inclusive plan. It covers buffet meals, local drinks (including a few cocktails) and snacks such as ice cream and cake between meals. Particularly good for families, there’s also a free supervised kids’ club and splash pool with a mini water park featuring slides, cascades and water jets.

Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort

Chain Hotel, Spa Hotel

On the larger side, the Grand Palladium Palace is also one of the more upscale all-inclusive complexes on the island. There’s pretty much everything here, including two huge outdoor pools, four restaurants, an adults-only luxury spa and an endless list of activities to keep the wee ones entertained. Its setting behind Playa d’en Bossa also means beach access just steps away. The inclusive plan is befitting of the hotel’s five stars, with some premium-brand drinks and à la carte dining included.

Fiesta Hotel Tanit

Hotel

An all-inclusive hotel that’s a real hit with families, Fiesta Hotel Tanit also has the bonus of direct access to the calm and shallow waters of Cala Gració beach. On-site facilities are super kid-friendly, comprising a kiddy pool with waterslides, plus a poolside playground and games room. The all-inclusive plan comes as standard and covers buffet-style meals (with some themed nights), non-premium drinks and snacks at set times. Tour operators also put on free supervised mini-clubs, which are included in the rate.

Palladium Hotel Don Carlos

Chain Hotel

Another cracking all-inclusive hotel from the Palladium chain, though this one is strictly adults-only. As well having all the facilities you’d expect from a four-star resort hotel – big swimming pool, enthusiastic animation team, smart modern rooms – the quality of the buffet is particularly impressive, plus guests get one free à la carte experience a week. Unlike most all-inclusives, there are several premium-brand drinks included together with some cocktails (though you still have to pay extra for top-shelf spirits).

azuLine Club Cala Martina Ibiza

Chain Hotel

After a 2017 makeover, this family-friendly all-inclusive option comprises 120 bungalows scattered around extensive pine-scented grounds. There’s certainly no shortage of facilities, with a free kids’ club (for four- to 12-year-olds), a splash pool with fun water features, plus a lively programme of activities and performances. All buffet meals are included, plus non-branded alcohol and soft drinks served across six bars, including one on the beach.

Caribe Hotel Ibiza

Chain Hotel

While the all-inclusive is optional at this three-star property, most guests choose the plan and enjoy a solid choice of buffet dining and unlimited drinks. Certainly not haute cuisine, but it offers some of the best value-for-money on the island, plus no shortage of leisure facilities, evening entertainment and child-friendly activities. It’s also a short stroll from the beautiful sandy bay of Es Canar.
