Castro Urdiales is a small coastal town and larger surrounding municipality, located in Cantabria, halfway between the major cities of Bilbao and Santander. Staying here feels akin to staying with friends – as public areas are filled with personal touches from paintings and plants to model boats and odd knick knacks.
