La Nit dels Museus, or The Night of the Museums, takes place this spring on the 21st of May. The first edition of the night was organized in 1997 when over 4,000 museums in 40 different countries held their doors open to the public free of charge. In Barcelona’s case, most of the city’s museums are participating, allowing entrance between 7pm and 1am. The night is the perfect occasion to explore and discover your favorite museum in the city for free during a particularly fascinating and exotic hour for a cultural visit – a beautiful spring evening in Barcelona.
