Yet another excellent concert night at the legendary music venue Apolo. This time, the stage is taken over by Blues Pills, a band started in Örebro, Sweden, and has been rocking on since 2011. The quartet, with its international Swedish-French-American members, form an unique sound of rock’n’roll combined with subtle and longing elements of blues. The singer, Elin Larsson uses her beautiful voice to seduce the audience, and takes the listener back in time to the golden age of Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Aretha Franklin, to name few of the ensemble’s ancestors.
