Ibiza has been attracting the glitterati, super-rich and A-list crowds for decades now, fuelling demand for some seriously high-end accommodation. Here are some of the more outrageous luxury rentals made only for those with the deepest of pockets, with everything from private chefs to nightclubs to infinity pools on offer – and they’re all bookable with Culture Trip.
Why rent just a villa when you can have the whole island? In the centre of the small isle of Tagomago, just off Ibiza, is this five-bedroom luxury villa surrounded by stunning sea view terraces and a super-chic swimming pool. The bonus here is that when you rent the property, it comes with the private island, complete with staff that include a personal chef and waiter. The catch? It’ll set you back almost a six-figure sum for a week, so better get saving.
Featuring panoramic views over Ibiza’s Old Town and out to the island of Formentera, Villa Roca boasts an exceptional setting – and that’s just the start. Its 32m (105ft) swimming pool features waterfalls, a cave, floating cabana, underwater windows, and even a water-mist system to cool down sunbathers on the poolside terrace. A dozen terraces and outdoor spaces provide uninterrupted sea views, while the villa’s master suite comes complete with its own private jacuzzi lounge.
For those looking for the optimum Ibiza party-pad, look no further than the aptly named Villa Rica. Not only does it have its own nightclub, the space comprises a soundproofed bar with underwater windows, CD turntables, DJ mixer, and a banging sound and lighting system. Overlooking the Bay of Cala Jondal, the views are also pretty spectacular. Lap up the panorama from the heated infinity pool, the eight-person hot tub, or the rooftop cocktail and dining lounge. Post-party, you can detox in the sauna or steam room, or sweat it out in the gym. The villa sleeps up to 10 people with five bedrooms.
With more than 800 square metres (8,611 square feet) of floor space spread over three levels, Villa Ixos is certainly one of the larger luxury villas on the island. The minimalist architecture is also swooningly stylish, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows making the most of stunning views overlooking San Antonio bay and its sunsets. The surrounding Mediterranean gardens are brimming with cacti, colourful flowers, and olive and lemon trees – perfect for that sundowner G&T on the rooftop terrace. There’s also a pool of course, as well as a hammam, jacuzzi, and state-of-the-art gym.
If space is what you require, Villa Blue offers it in abundance. Perched on a clifftop, there are five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Each of the rooms make the most of the azure sea stretching out in front of it – best seen from one of the deep-soak tubs or simply from your private rooftop terrace. After a dip in the onsite pool, dinner is prepared each night by your own private chef (who looks after breakfast and lunch too). When you want to unwind, there’s an indoor jacuzzi, steam room and meditation room at your disposal.
Perched atop Atzaro mountain, with panoramic views of Morna valley, Can Arte perfectly blends old Ibiza charm with its very modern setting. Travertine marble floors stretch across the property (including its six luxury bedrooms), where the decor is vibrant with artworks lining the walls. The expansive grounds are home to a swimming pool, jacuzzi and a Balinese massage temple – and donkeys live in the 10,000 square metres (107,639 square feet) of forest onsite too.
