7 Fashion Designers From Barcelona You Should Know

Picture of Tara Jessop
Updated: 8 June 2017
When it comes to fashion, Spain is best known for the likes of high-street giants Zara, Massimo Dutti and Mango. Yet, whether it’s for vintage-inspired evening gowns or easy-to-wear men’s clothing, these fashion designers from Barcelona are also worth knowing.

Rebel Root

Founded in 2012 by the Catalan Eva Riu who had previously attended Central St Martins in London, Rebel Root is an ethical fashion brand for men and women. Each garment is Fair Trade-guaranteed and the brand helps promote and protect traditional methods of production. Don’t try looking for Rebel Root on the high-street though – it’s currently an exclusively online store.
