Check out these great blogs for all the latest arts news, reviews and events.

ARTiculación Cultural

This Spanish language blog was started by art history student Rosa Bastos as a way of helping to promote local and national art and culture. The range of mediums she covers in ARTiculación Cultural is broad, including sculpture, painting, photography and the performing arts, offering a ‘birds eye view’ of the contemporary art scene. The blog mostly features interviews with local artists and reviews of current exhibitions, as well as feature pieces on projects and events. ARTiculación Cultural was a finalist in the Setdart Awards for best art blog in 2014.

Exhibition at the CCCB

The CCCB Blog

The Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) is one of the city’s most avant-garde cultural institutions, offering a full program of events, exhibitions, workshops and talks. They are truly multi-disciplinary, at the intersection of art, design, philosophy, science and more. While the CCCB’s blog mostly discusses themes, artists and exhibitions featured at the centre, the scope is broad enough to make this a great source of information for anyone interested in contemporary art. Also worth noting is that it is one of the few also available in English.
