Positioned on the green tip of the city’s famous peninsula that’s practically surrounded by ocean, few come close to Eurostars Ciudad de la Coruña for setting. It’s in a major shopping area, with plenty of gastro options within a short stroll. Feeling lazy? The hotel’s Marola Restaurant offers a decent menu of Galician cooking. Your room also has a pillow menu for a good night’s slumber before heading back down the next morning to fill up on their breakfast buffet.

Overlooking a highway junction, the Hotel Avenida isn’t going to win any prizes for its location.
