The market is currently anchored to the southern side of Singel canal and runs between two public plazas called Konigsplein and the Muntplein. Even though it is slightly less central than its larger counterpart in de Pijp, Albert Cuypmarkt, there are many reasons to visit Dappermarkt. For one, it is noticeably less busy than Albert Cuypmarkt and has many of the same types of stalls, including spots that sell cosmetics, fresh fish, candy and, of course, flowers. There are usually around four florists at the market whose wares range from made-to-order bouquets to fully grown bonsai trees.
