On the top floor of an early 20th-century palazzo, Il Boom B&B is a luxurious property on the edge of the Trastevere neighbourhood. Reflecting the bohemian district, the decor is pointedly vintage, with an old jukebox, pinball machine and homely furnishings that pay homage to the owner’s love of classic Italian films and music. In fact, the B&B’s three bedrooms are named after the famous Italian actresses: Sophia Loren, Monica Vitti and Anna Magnani.
