Campo de’ Fiori, one of Rome’s most energetic and beautiful piazzas. After spending the day taking in Rome’s world-famous sights, stop and experience some of its gastronomical delights too. Here’s a selection of some of the best restaurants you’ll find in this central Rome location.

Obicà is a mozzarella bar with a great menu based on fresh ingredients. It also serves pizzas, of course, with heavy reliance on this buffalo cheese. The high quality food used in the preparation of the dishes make this is the place to try out different mozzarella-based dishes.

Still my favourite restaurant in the whole world……Mumma Mia the burrata 😋🇮🇹 #Perfecto #Bufala #Mozzarella

La Carbonara

With two floors and some space outside, La Carbonara is the ideal venue whatever the season. During summer, sit back at the tables outside on Campo de’ Fiori and enjoy the Roman breeze. In the winter, patrons can be accommodated on the first floor, which overlooks the piazza and offers a wonderful views of Rome. The cuisine accentuates the quality of locally-sourced ingredients, offering traditional Roman dishes accompanied by local wines.

Serving an unparalleled carbonara, Antica Hostaria Romanesca is a very popular venue. There are tables set outside so that patrons can enjoy their food and the unique atmosphere of Campo de’ Fiori simultaneously.

With a menu ranging from great salads with proper dressings to Roman dishes and beyond, Maranega is sure to please. There are tables outside so guests can enjoy a view of the piazza. Maranega is also a lounge bar which offers an enchanting view of the square and serves beautifully crafted cocktails.

Il Nolano

Il Nolano is a classic “bottiglieria”. This italian word now has a rather old-fashioned, somewhat eccentric ring to it which matches the atmosphere of this traditional and authentically Italian venue. There’s a good range of beers and cocktails and a delicious selection of nibbles to choose from.
