If you are looking for good food and live music in the city center, Columbus Jazz Pub is an amazing place to be. The pub offers great views of the Danube River and the Castle of Buda from the terrace. The food is delicious and the location is ideal. If you are looking for some great live music, the pub offers concerts almost every evening. The novelty of Columbus Jazz Pub that makes it stand out from others is that, in addition to the music and the idyllic views, it’s also a floating pub.

Cotton Club

Cotton Club is a large authentic American-style club evoking the atmosphere of the 1920s. Cotton Club is an ideal venue for live music, food, and cigars in the cigar room. There is a live performance every night except Sunday, but if you happen to find yourself at Cotton Club on a Sunday, worry not. Guests can still relax with a delicious drink in the warm ambience of this club and its stylish interiors, or have a seat in the cigar room and choose from one of their many cigars. The bar is a little bit pricey but the atmosphere makes the prices worth it.

A38 Hajó

The A38 ship is a local favorite and a concert venue attracting high-profile bands and DJs. From jazz to pop to rock, A38 displays a wide range of genres when it comes to music. They offer the best parties which all take place on a ship giving some of the best views of the Danube. A38 is located on the Buda side of the city and features live music on the deck. The basement floor is a great place for dinner but keep in mind, like most restaurants in Budapest, they don’t offer many vegetarian options. Customers can purchase concert tickets which include a dinner and some concerts are even free to go to.

Budapest Jazz Club

Music Venue

For an intimate setting with live music and great food, the Budapest Jazz Club is the place to go. The service is a quite different in that customers will have dinner first and then be taken to another room for a show. Besides the food, the jazz acts are top-notch and speak English so that their foreign audience can understand their lyrics. The price for a dinner and show is one of the best in Budapest and the club serves a wonderful lemonade along with a great variety of other drinks. They often host jam sessions which are a delight to attend.

Opus Jazz Club

Music Venue

Sit back with a glass of wine and a fantastic meal and listen to some jazz music at Opus Jazz Club. On Wednesdays, Opus offers free entry and sometimes guests will be treated to a Hungarian jazz act. The food at this venue is very reasonably priced and well-presented with options ranging from tagliatelle to black mussels and fresh salads. The service has always been very pleasant, welcome and accommodating here and there are many viewpoints from which guests can view the live acts, such as from the side stage or the gallery.
