My Cocoon Hostel, the First Japanese-Inspired Capsule Hostel in Mykonos

The team pushed the envelope with the My Cocoon hostel. After studying the architecture of hostels around the world, they opted for a Japanese-style capsule hotel design. Space is divided by walls yet balanced with an open-plan floor model, providing a feeling of openness in spite of the fragmented spaces. Out of respect to the location, they went for a traditional Cycladic aesthetic to maintain a sense of lightness.

The hostel features communal dorm-style rooms with private bathrooms that can be booked for a group, as well as more traditional dormitories. Guests can socialize with fellow guests by the pool on the rooftop terrace or in the lounge area.
