Klunkerkranich is a bar on top of the shopping center Neukölln Arcaden in the southeastern part of the city. It has an awesome view over the charming red roofs of the area and a far but direct view to the TV Tower. The environment is very charming, complete with a lot of wood, gardens, sand, selective music (sometimes live) and fabulous drinks at excellent prices.

Klunkerkranich opens at noon and offers delicious brunch, plus it is family friendly — kids can have fun in the sandbox during summer.

Sometimes, the bar becomes a type of flea market called Kranich Food Market, with street food as the main attraction. In December, a colorful Christmas market takes place on this sixth floor terrace where it is possible to find nice handmade designs plus traditional food and drinks. December also sees specially designed programs in order to experience a special and unique Christmas.

This is the biggest and highest rooftop beach in Berlin. It is located on the top of a shopping center directly on parking lot 5 of Schönhauser Allee Arcaden. It is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful Berlin sunset while relaxing to the sounds of lounge music. The environment also encourages a laid back mode with tall plants, big, comfortable chairs and even beds to lay down on, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Prices for drinks are higher than the Berlin average, so make sure to go with enough money — it is definitely worth it.
