Batumi is a bustling city in the Adjara region in Georgia. It has many restaurants, cafés, bars, and clubs. Even though it’s a small city, there are plenty of opportunities for fun. We managed to handpick some of the best bars in town, and here they are:

Chacha Time

Bar, European

Chacha is a local Georgian brandy made from the grape pomace left over after the wine-making process. Chacha time offers different flavors of chacha. With its high alcohol content and heavy taste, Chacha might not be your cup of tea, thus Chacha Time also has other drinks to start the evening. If you get hungry, burgers, salads, and even pancakes are available.

Vinyl Bar

Bar, European

Vinyl Bar is a little bar on Europe Square. As the name suggests, the interior is adorned with many different types of vinyl records and other decorative items handmade by the owners and their friends. Aside from a wide range of alcoholic drinks, great atmosphere and live music await you here.

Spectrum Rooftop Restaurant

Bar, Cocktail Bar, Restaurant, European

If you like sipping a delicious cocktail with a view of a city lit up with glittering lights, then you will love Spectrum Rooftop Restaurant. With a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and a great friendly atmosphere, Spectrum Rooftop Restaurant has become a go-to place for many locals.

BQ Wine Bar

Bar, Wine Bar, European

Georgia is the motherland for wine production, so if you happen to love wine, you should definitely check out BQ Wine Bar, where the owner and wine-maker, Beka Minadze, is happy to share his knowledge about the traditional Georgian wine production methods. The venue offers wine made from small, family farmers of the region. Order a cheese or meat plate and enjoy the evening.

Iveria Beach Club

Bar, European

More of a lounge bar and club, Iveria Beach is a popular destination if you like to dance and experience local nightlife. Stretched along the bay, the venue has a fascinating view of the Black Sea. Open all day, you can come here before the sun goes down, bask in the glowing rays, have a snack, and enjoy yourself.
