Baumanière Spa

The Baumanière spa has an indoor and outdoor pool and a selection of treatments and cures. It uses Sisley products and happily welcomes men into its spa to relax – with a range of products just for men. The accompanying hotel has rooms and suites, as well as lots of different eating options. It’s also a stone’s throw from the beautiful town of Les Baux.

This is a city spa, so it doesn’t come with the landscaped gardens or outside pools but it’s completely beautiful. 27 rue Mazarine (named after its central location in the beautiful town of Aix en Provence) has a beautiful pool and several massage rooms as well as a sauna.27 rue Mazarine is one of the few places in the region to find key American make up brands (like Laura Mercier). It’s where the “ladies that lunch“, hang out before lunch. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle for a short time.
Thermes Sextius

The Thermes Sextius in Aix en Provence is built on the site of the old Roman Baths. It has its own unique water source down to 80m in depth which is naturally kept at 33°C. It is now a major hydrotherapy centre and a great place to unwind on holiday. The hotel Aquabella next door completes the package. It’s located in the centre of town so after unwinding in the baths and a massage, you can head out to discover everything Aix has to offer.

What better place to relax than where Van Gogh went to recuperate during a spell of depression? The Hotel Le Vallon de Valrugues is a 5-star gem, located in a National Park in Saint-Rémy de Provence. It has an indoor and outdoor pool, a gastronomic restaurant and a bistro for lunch. It even has a Tesla terminal where you can recharge your state-of-the-art car. A little piece of heaven.
Les Lodges
Les Lodges is a relatively new spa to the area – it was built in the last few years. It’s situated on the beautiful winding road that runs under the local mountain, the Sainte Victoire, in between Aix en Provence and the charming village of Le Tholonet. It has two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, and a series of treatment rooms. Head to the terrace afterwards for a lovely glass of wine, coffee or light lunch. The atmosphere is cool, calm and completely amazing.
Hotel les Bories
The beautiful village of Gordes is also home to another spa, the Hotel les Bories. This is a countryside spa with a super relaxed vibe. The pool is indoor but the treatments are divine. They have day rates to use the facilities which often include a light lunch. A really good option if you wan to be away from anybody and anything.

This spa in Malaucène runs clinical programmes where you can exercise and detox. It’s a good place to make an appointment to have treatments, where you might not stay but just are in the neighbourhood and want a little appointment or swim to feel better.
