You should go early in the morning, surf for a while and then make sure to stop by Le Mango Tree food truck for a healthy brunch in a superb environment. Start with a green detox juice and get your energy boost with a delicious açaï bowl.

7. Le Poinçon

Bistro, French

After surfing in the very popular Parlementia beach, you should pause for a while in this very cool and nicely decorated bistro where you will eat fresh food and be welcomed by a friendly and super efficient staff. Try the Thai beef salad, it’s excellent.

8. La Guinguette Erromardie

Bar, Restaurant, Supper club, Street Food

Whether you’re an established surfer or newbie, this is the place to be! Right in front of the ocean, the Guinguette Erromardie is an incredible spot in Saint Jean de Luz for early evening drinks with your friends. The deck chairs, the vintage look and the DJ’s sets make it an exceptional place for surfers and anyone who’s into a laid-back atmosphere for a night.

The Beach

Sounds pretty obvious, but the beach is probably the best hangout for the surfers. Lie down on the sand for an after-session nap, meet up with your crew for an improvised picnic or gather around a bonfire and contemplate the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean.
