Le Touquet Beach

This expansive beach is one of the most popular places to visit in Le Touquet. The beach itself is enormous, with the softest and clearest sand imaginable. With so much space to roam, there will always be an ideal place to settle and bask in the sun. There are walking routes along the shore, with sandy paths between lush green foliage. When you feel like taking a break from the sun, take a walk around, pop into one of the cafes, or get yourself some ice cream.

Rue St. Jean

Rue St. Jean is the traveler’s paradise. It is a beautiful street filled to the brim with market stalls. Not only will you be treated to the gorgeous French architecture of the houses and buildings, but you will feel as if you are part of the French culture as you mingle with the locals. Shop until you drop at the market and finish the day by visiting one of their memorable cafes or bars. Rue St. Jean is filled with things to do, things to see, things to buy, and places to eat.

Le Touquet Lighthouse

For photographers, or those of you who love a good view, book a trip to the top of Le Touquet Lighthouse. Children will love climbing the spiral staircase, and once you reach the top, you will be able to see for miles and miles on a clear day. The views are truly spectacular. This inland lighthouse is fascinating and features a little museum explaining its history. With 274 steps, this lighthouse is quite the climb, but well worth it.

Marche Couvert

Marche Couvert translates to the “covered market,” and after giving it a visit you will be thoroughly satisfied, as all your bargain needs will be met here. The market features permanent stalls for their fresh fish, cheese, and vegetables, but they also have temporary stalls selling books, clothes, and furniture, so you will always find something new and exciting. This market is also very popular with the locals, so if you like to mingle this is the place to be.
