When Kyoto opened its doors in Istedgade for the first time back in 2001, it was a male store with a great variety of jeans surrounded by strip clubs and cheap hotels. When the neighborhood started undergoing gentrification, Kyoto followed the vibe and moved to a larger store that now displays a great collection of notable Scandinavian brands such as Acne, Wood Wood, and high-end French fashion brands as APC and Kitsuné. Kristian, the owner of the store, always strives to offer a unique experience to every fashionable person who enters Kyoto to rummage through the huge clothing and sneakers selection.
