They also have terraces and balconies that can either face the ocean or the city, and all guests have access directly to Isla Verde’s most popular beach. You’ll find this popular hotel in the historic Old San Juan area. The Sheraton’s architecture provides a notable contrast to the traditional Spanish buildings surrounding it. In spite of its modern style, the hotel is still elegant and very beautiful. 4. Hotel El Convento San Juan

When this building was originally built in 1651 it was the Carmelite Convent. It changed purpose a few times, but eventually was restored and opened its doors as a hotel in 1962. The hotel is still one of the most beautiful places to stay in San Juan to this day. The Hyatt Hacienda del Mar Hotel Dorado is located on a private area of the Dorado Beach. The resort features an 18-hole golf course, spa and the opportunity to horseback ride on the beach.
