From the moment you arrive in Bermuda, you’ll get a sense of its colonial past – from the distinct British, Portuguese and North American
influences. A British Overseas Territory off the east coast of the United States, tourists flock here to take advantage of the horseshoe-shaped island’s mild-to-balmy weather and pink sandy beaches. For a rundown of the best villas, cottages and vacation rentals in Bermuda – bookable on Culture Trip – read on.
Island life is all about the outdoors. A 10-minute walk from Middle Beach, the sprawling grounds of this laid-back guest house holds an ample-size swimming pool – where whitewashed rooms with beamed ceilings include kitchenettes for fixing your favorite dishes. If spending time on the links is your idea of paradise, Belmont Hills Golf Club is within walking distance – or, if it’s family fun you’re looking for, head to the aquarium and zoo, only a 20-minute scooter or electric car ride away.
Painted in a bright periwinkle blue and white, the Blue Diamond Apartments charm from the start. Less than 20 minutes from the airport, three one-bedroom apartments open onto patios and have fully equipped kitchens, cooling tiled floors and whirring ceiling fans to ease the balmy heat. There’s even a waterslide for kids – young and old – to enjoy as they splash in the pool. Marley Beach is a six-minute walk if you want some sand between your toes.
This guesthouse is the perfect place for lazing about in the sun, cocktail in hand. That’s because all of the six rooms — from singles to superiors that sleep four — open to a furnished patio encircled by the lush, palm-tree-strewn grounds. When it’s time to get some shut-eye, wander inside to find well-crafted dark wooden beds, chandeliers and a cosy atmosphere that everyone will love.
Sometimes less is more. To the western end of the island, just meters from Warwick Long Bay Beach, these apartments are the ideal respite after a long day of sightseeing or beachcombing. Kick back in one of two individually decorated rooms, each with separate sitting areas and kitchens – perfect for those who love a home-cooked meal on holiday.
In the Hamilton Parish neighbourhood, this holiday spot gives families or friends travelling together room to spread out. This two-storey, two-bedroom and three-bath holiday home sleeps four comfortably – or five, if you count the fold-out futon in the living area. Featuring all the comforts of home, one can certainly up the ante by ordering customized services such as a private chef, driver, order grocery delivery, boat charter and more – subject to a surcharge, of course.
For many seasoned travellers, a comfortable place to lay your head is enough. Central Apartment is that – and so much more. Located between the north and south shores in Devonshire Parish, you can park your motorbike for free, launder your clothes in the washer/dryer combo, fire the kettle for a cup of tea or whip up a quick breakfast in the kitchen. Plus, you’re just a four-minute drive from the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo.
This little slice of heaven – in the centre of the Spanish Point – is a short stroll to a beach lapped by crystalline waters. Explore the reef line in a kayak, rent a scooter to explore the capital, or go cliff jumping at Admiralty House Park. The private, one-bedroom apartment with a fresh lemon-yellow façade has everything you need for a self-contained holiday – including a terrace from which to watch the sunset over the ocean.
One of the best things about these suites — besides a cooling water’s edge position and short ferry ride from the capital, Hamilton — is the attention to detail. Rooms have appealing coastal decor with blues and beiges, king-size beds and neat galley kitchens for light dining. Suites, on the other hand, include full kitchens, walk-in closets, separate living and dining spaces – as well as private balconies. Concierge services are available, too – ask and you shall receive.

Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.
Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.
Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.
Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.
We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
