Nha Trang is a seaside resort city that draws in visitors thanks to a pristine beach, high-rise hotels and a laid-back yet luxurious vibe. Here’s our pick of the best hostels – all bookable on Culture Trip.

There’s so much to do in Nha Trang – from the huge white Buddha statue at Long son Pagoda and the National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam to the Thap Ba hot springs and Dam Market shopping centre, it really would be a shame to use up your budget on expensive hotels. If you’re looking to save on accommodation but don’t want to sacrifice comfort, here are a selection of high-quality, low-cost hostels that will give you a great night’s sleep – if you’re not busy out partying in this lively backpackers’ resort.

This new hostel is located in the backpackers’ hub of Nha Trang city, so if you can tear yourself away from the refreshing water, you’ll be at the beach or in the shopping market within five minutes. The hostel’s very own boat party includes all beer and food along with live music and snorkeling. Alternatively, head trekking, swimming and rock-climbing at nearby Ba Ho Waterfall.
