The people of South Korea are very style conscious and eager to express themselves through their clothing. Streetwear is very popular in Seoul and here are some the best streetwear stores to check when you are in the city .

ODD GALLERY

Shop, Shopping Mall, Store

ODD GALLERY is a store that caters to a more rebellious clientele. In particular the millennials of Seoul appreciate the straight-forward style and décor of the shop, something that contradicts very much with traditional Korean culture. If you are looking for clothing from Another Youth, LMC or ESC Studio, this concept store will fulfill your fashion dreams.

Kasina

Store

Streetwear lovers in Seoul regularly shop at Kasina, as it has become one of the most successful stores of its kind in the city. However, most don’t know that the store actually started out in Busan in 1997 but then quickly opened another location in the capital. Kasina stocks brands like HUF, Stussy or Bones and also has a big assortment of skateboards and accessories on offer.

COURT

Store

While this store only carries sneakers, it’s an absolute must on our streetwear list. Located in the district of Itaewon, the store carries anything from pricey Air Jordans to more affordable kicks for every budget. Korean/Canadian owners Mickey and Mark only pick the best for their customers. That’s why they only have a limited amount of options in each size available. Be fast and pick up the latest sneakers at 7294 Court. https://www.instagram.com/p/BS3Ep-QD2TC/?taken-by=7294ct&hl=en

Warped

Shop, Store

Warped is not your regular kind of streetwear store. In fact, the store is owned by a DJ who usually plays the latest hits in-store. Occasionally, some of his DJ buddies will set up and entertain shoppers with crazy beats. The best part about Warped is its vast selection. The mix of Korean and international labels like Thrasher and Have a Good Time make Warped a top address for streetwear fans in the city.

Works Out

Store, Building

Located in the usually gray Apgujeong area, Works Out sticks out immediately. This is partly due to the green entrance and the unique steel structure, but also because of the high-quality streetwear on the racks. The building itself was designed by world-renowned architect group Andrea Caputo Office from Italy and is a true eye-catcher in the city. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by friendly staff who really know what they are talking about. Whether you are looking for Brixton, Obey, Carhartt, or other streetwear labels, the three floors have plenty to offer for everyone and you’ll always leave with a purchase.

Spelling

If there’s one thing the owners of Spelling take seriously, it’s value for money. The store offers an extensive variety of streetwear labels from all over the world, including local Korean brands. The best sellers, however, are the all-time favorites like Carhartt, Obey and Penfield.

Sopooom

Shop

Literally translating to ‘prop’, Sopooom is one of the latest hotspots for streetwear. The shop doesn’t only offer clothing from popular brands like Thrasher and Poler, but hip hop fans can also pick up merchandise from Illionaire Records, an independent South Korean record label formed by two rappers in 2011.
